The 38th Lorient Interceltic Festival celebrates the 'Year of Wales'
From 1st to 10th August 2008 the Year of Wales was celebrated at the 38th Interceltic Festival in Lorient, Brittany.
Festival goers visiting the Wales Pavilion, situated alongside the Palais de Congres, were able to get a taste of Wales. They were treated to performances from Welsh bands, musical master classes, poetry readings and story tellings. Welsh produce, books and music were also on sale and the food demonstrations and tastings went down very well.
